It was my pleasure to work on this exciting book project of Fleurus Editions. I designed over 60 illustrations for the game board, which helps children to learn the history of space expedition. Spaceships, planets and iconic human pioneers and all elements which contributed to the fascinating world of space travel.
I went for my typical colour palette, extremely friendly and calm, which help the shapes to be clear against the colour backgrounds. The illustrations have a clean, vector style, avoiding to add my typical textures. I wanted to make sure the game spaces will not be overwhelming to the children.
It was also nominated for the French Book Awards (Prix Roberval Jeunesse) :)
